Dartmouth Technology Transfer Overview
The Dartmouth College Technology Transfer Office serves as a focal point of interaction between industry and academic research on Dartmouth campus by transferring technology, originated in the College and its professional schools, to the private sector for the benefit of the general public and by contributing to the educational, research and public service missions of Dartmouth College.
Patenting and licensing of inventions originated in the College and its professional schools comprise the largest share of Technology Transfer activities and follow guidelines established by our office. Industrially sponsored research agreements, including SBIRs and STTRs, material transfer agreements, non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements, state business assistance programs, and various other issues concerning academic collaborations with industry, also come under Dartmouth Technology Transfer's purview.
We seek to continually improve our services to the Dartmouth and Upper Valley community.
